Beyond Grief

FAQ

What is Beyond Grief?

Beyond Grief is an independent publication about grief, remembrance, and everyday life after a death. It is for people who are grieving and people supporting someone else.

Where should I start?

You can browse the guides by topic. Coping covers everyday difficulties; Support & Therapy explains support options; Rituals & Culture explores remembrance. There is no required reading order, and you do not need to read everything.

Who writes the articles?

Beyond Grief includes human contributions and AI-assisted editorial writing. Some bylines are editorial voices rather than individual contributors. A byline does not imply clinical qualifications or personal experience of bereavement.

Does “beyond grief” mean moving on or forgetting?

No. The name refers to the life around a loss, not a point at which grief should be finished. Remembering someone and continuing with everyday life do not have to be opposites.

Is this therapy or professional advice?

No. Our articles provide general information and reflection. They are not individual medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. A byline is not evidence of professional qualifications; do not assume an article has had clinical review unless a qualified reviewer and review are explicitly identified.

Can you help in an emergency?

We are not an emergency-response or counselling service. Do not use the contact form for urgent help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis service in your country.

How can I suggest a correction?

Use the Contact page and include the article title or link, the passage you are concerned about, and a reliable source if you have one. Please avoid sending sensitive personal or medical details.

Do practical instructions apply in every country?

No. Healthcare, employment, banking, and estate procedures vary by location. Check the location covered by a guide and verify the steps with the relevant official service or a qualified local adviser.
